Inspired by the “Italian Hilltown”, landscape architectural consulting were provided for the campus’ Arts, Humanities and Science Complex and the 200,000 s.f. Library. With a framework for the future campus in mind, both facilities include large plazas providing a transition between the existing campus and the campus expansion. The library includes the Forum Plaza, surrounding circulation, and landscaping becoming the central gathering place for students on campus.
In addition, site planning and conceptual grading design for the 50 acre sports field complex that includes five soccer fields, a softball field, baseball field and six tennis courts. Also included are adjacent parking facilities, sand volley-ball courts, restroom/concession facility, a field house and jogging paths.
Working closely with the campus facilities department, comprehensive campus-wide landscape maintenance guidelines and quarterly inspections support the design goals of the campus Master Plan through energy saving pruning and watering techniques and reducing maintenance cost, water usage and green waste.
